Utah Trip 2014 Part 2

This was SO fun.  We went the the Bean museam at BYU (which is free!!!) and then got yummy ice cream at the creamery!  Also look at Brit's cute belly!!  She is having a girl in November and I am SO excited for them!  Also I took the above picture to try and show how HUGE the elevator is!! I just noticed that Cami and Kaylee look like they are holding hands.  I wouldn't be surprised if they were but it could be how everything is aligned.  They are adorable.
I go to take a picture and they do exactly what we said not to do and hang on the ropes.  lol I'm surprised 3 years olds aren't banned from EVERYTHING.  But they had fun as did we.

So basically it was a bunch of taxidermy and statues.  It was REALLY cool.

Aunt Britany was awesome and she read to them facts about the animals.

Mal missed the whole thing because he was sleeping.
One of Kaylee's favorite parts was the butterflies.  Cam liked the insects too.
One day they will both look at the camera.
Then everyone got sick.  Grandma didn't go with us to the museum because she was throwing up all night.  Then Mal threw up mid nap.  Good thing we gave him pink ice cream.....
Malcolm ONLY threw up once.  Then Kaylee threw up about 13 times.
Malcolm finishing his nap.
He turned over during his nap and he had this red mark on his face.  I couldn't help but think of tommy boy "Not here, Not here, but Riiight here." (Tommy has a similar red mark and was asking Richard if he had a mark and pointed out where it hurt.)
More playing outside and more tackles.
We went shopping and took 2 kids to lighten the load.  Look how cute they are together.  I swear that Benji had a better time than it looks.
Kaylee's first dental visit!!  Kevin had a dentist friend there so we got a friends and family rate and just got it done.  She was a perfect patient and NO CAVITIES!!!  Thank goodness!
Then we went to go see temple square.  Kaylee wanted to take pictures with things she thought were cool.

This is the first part of Independence Day.  I was watching a movie with everyone and realized I was the ONLY one awake.  Seriously life?

He has the BEST sleeping faces.

We did more swimming and eating and then we did a pre fireworks show.
She posed like this for the picture all by herself.  Funny girl!!

They loved those little popper things you throw on the ground.  Good thing there were a bajillian of them!
Then we made strict rules and placements for the sparklers.

They loved it and got really into seeing them light up.  We got some perfect ones that just lit up but didn't actually spark a lot so it didn't get on the kids hands.

Britany did step on a sparkler coal or something on the ground and so she spent the evening like this.  I don't blame her I would be dying!

She thought it was a little loud.
But she loved every minute!

Uncle Chuck and Malcolm

Cousins.  I love Cami in this picture.  Totally captured his silly personality.
Now for the real stuff. We put the 2 youngest to bed and brokw out the sparkly sparklers

Then we watched some pretty cool fireworks and more Guzmans (Brits Fam) came to play.
Charlie downing his root beer floats!
The next day Allen woke Kevin up so we could go out for breakfast!
The kids were crazy since we let them stay up.  They still woke up at the break of dawn.  Erg.

But we still got some great pictures like this!

And this

And these!!!

We also got to go see one of my very best friends Monique.  We grew up together and I am so glad she is still in my life.  Meanwhile in San Diego out moms were hanging out at a baptism for 2 of Monique's nephews.  I sent this to Moniques and said "Look! It's us in 25 years!"  The Bresee family make me super happy!!

So this picture here was from the 4th but it didn't uplaod next to the other picture.  Look at his hair!!! :-)
We left Sunday the 6th of July and we did it all in one shot except the few hours we stopped in Vegas to make sure our car was ok.  It was good enough to make home but later found out there was a crack somewhere but was covered by warranty...yaddy yaddy ya. It's fixed now which is all I care about.  For Free (even better)

We got gas at a Sinclair station which mean traditional dino picture.
BTW we love those trays that we attached to the car seats.  Made the trip a ton easier and will grow with them. (We can use it with a booster seat and your can even just attach it to them)

June 2014

It has been really awesome being able to hang out with my cousin Maria a ton more.  This is from a girls day we had.  We are having so much fun!
Kaylee sleeping.  It's really nice when she naps.  It doesn't happen everyday, but when it does, I'm a happy lady.
As part of my "trying to eat clean" plan.  I made these whole wheat pancakes with strawberrys and homemade whip cream.  Yummy!!
This is at Bostonia Park.  Malcolm is actually rock climbing!!  He is getting better at everything at the park.  I'm excited school has started so I can go back to the park to play with the kids.  I don't like having the big kids there.  :-)

Kaylee fell asleep at my parents house before her friend came to play.  This day Kevin needed the car so we spent the day at my parents so we didn't feel so locked inside today.
Here is Jackie (my friend from High School) doing Kaylee's hair.  Her daughter is just 2 days younger than Kaylee.  They love each other!
My sister's cat Ringo had kittens.  Yay!!  Unfortunately one dies before I had a chance to meet it.  I got this picture from my sisters Facebook.  The one on the very left I believe is the one my cousin Mia adopted.  We called him Monster but they changed his name to...I forgot. Haha  the grey one is Bunny and the calico one is Elphaba.  They are adorable and sweet like their mama.
More of Kaylee's dance class!  We haven't done it all summer because they did swim and we knew we'd be out and about all summer.
We had our last concert with Staump Music School.  I couldn't work with my cousin's soon to be ex after I knew how he treated her.  I'm surprised I didn't leave sooner.  But it was a good experience and I LOVE teaching music.  So that is good to know.
Malcolm in his big boy bed.  He looks so peaceful.  I believe I had to wake him up and he looked so cute I had to take a picture!
Look at this little man at the Library with his puppets!  We love the El Cajon Library.  The kid's section is HUGE!
This is Malcolm's CHEESE face.  He loves to take pictures and this is a classic face of his.
Kaylee at Sea World.  I need to have another Sea World day.  It is way too much fun!!
Just realized that Mal and me have the same smile going on in the above picture haha
Seeing how they compare to dolphins.
One of my favorite summer things Sea World has is Circ De La Mer.  We love to get front and center seating.  Look how close we were!  Also, Malcolm fell asleep.

Kaylee had a day where she was on her very best behavior.  Like she actually didn't make me cry and was good for a while day.  We decided to be awesome and go get frozen yogurt at the Yogurt Mill!!  Love that place.
We took my dad out to Black Angus!  Happy Fathers Day to the two best men I know!!  I'm glad that I got to spend some quality time with them.  After we went and saw the movie Edge of Tomorrow.  It was awesome!

My Dessert  MMMMMMMMMMMM
The above picture was taken of all of us watching the movie Frozen together since my parents hadn't actually seen it.  I love my sister!!
We have REALLY enjoyed playing in Aunt Claudia's pool this summer!  Mal is warming up to the water finally and Kaylee is doing SO good at swimming with no floaties.

Swimming tires him out!  This is not the first time he has passed out after a good swim!!
I took a few pictures when we had to hang out at the mall while we got the car fixed.  They look happy but it was actually a terrible experience of having to leave since there was a bully little boy there and his mom was doing nothing to stop him from terrorizing my children.

THE DEL MAR FAIR!!  Ok the San Diego County fair but us locals know it by the first name.  My dad's band "Rock and Roll Detention" got to play and we all got to go see him and check out the joys of the fair.  Kaylee and Malcolm enjoyed the animals and also enjoyed going on their first rides!!

Above is my dad's band.  It was SO fun!!  My dad ROCKED "Wipe out!" on the drums.  I have a video somewhere.  If I remember I will post it.
Malcolm playing planes while watching the movie planes while I pack.  Seriously he is so cute.  I am packing in this picture for our Utah trip which I will post about next.
I can't get enough.  His smile!!  It makes my heart and face smile every day.  :-)

May 2014

Aparently I will need to make a seperate post about Malcolm's birthday but he turned 2 this month!!  Look at that cute face!  I love Malcolm for many many reasons.  Just a few are:
His Smile
His Cuddles
That he asked for cuddles and "I sit with you?"
His many many kisses
How he runs to you if you are sad to give you a big hug and kiss
How he will say sorry if you are sad even though he did nothing wrong
His kid heart
His big laughs
How he stops in his tracks when he hears or sees a plane
This is when he got his 2 year doctor visit.  He got one shot and then had to get blood drawn for a few routine tests.  In the past they always did a finger or foot prick.  This time they sent us to the lab and they pulled out a baby needle to stick in his arm they would you or me.  It took me, a nurse and then the nurse called in a big man nurse to come help hold him down because "He's really strong can you come help?"  I felt SO bad for the little dude and when I told my dad about the visit he had such a horrified face imagining the little mal under the needle!
Mothers day we all had a girls night with my mom!  This was a random picture I took during the night.  HAHA
My heart melts.  Seriously!!  Look at this picture!  Mal made it in Nursery!  I love the crafts they make in nursery.

MALCOLM IN A BIG BOY BED!!!  Yes the day came and he is in!  He sleeps wonderfully in it.  He loves his "Mickey Bed" and that it also has airplanes on it!

Random picture of Kaylee playing.  She looked really cute in this picture!!
My dad got his MASTERS!  I'm so so so so proud of him!!  After the graduation we all went to his favorite Home Town Buffet for dinner.  Such a great day!

This is a picture of Malcolm right after his haircut.  I took him to the place I go this time.  Hair INTL on Main St.  I was worried they wouldn't want to do his hair but the guy was SUPER with Mal even though I had to hold him and he cried.  He gave Malcolm an unopened sucker.  This way Mal was focused on opening the sucker and then eating the sucker.  That was the only time he didn't cry.  After he would stop everyone he could to say "I got a haircut!"
Kaylee used my phone and ended up with this gem with her Aunt Claudia
After swimming I dressed him in his PJs and he didn't make it to the car before he passed out in my arms.  (I'm still in my suit, excuse all that flesh!  I swear there is a one piece modest bathing suit behind him!)
