October part 2/ More birthday fun and A Run

One thing I forgot to mention in the part 1 in that we had Kaylee's birthday party the weekend before her birthday.  Which will be relevant later.  The above picture was taken at the fountain in front of the science center at Balboa park.  It was free Tuesday and this one was REALLY packed.
Kaylee made a cat in the hat hat in preschool which is pretty awesome.
This is Kaylee and Malcolm waiting for daddy to come home.
This is Kaylee's actual birthday.  We did our presents and my parents presents that day.
Malcolm got her an Elsa doll.
My parent's bought her a bike. (not pictured I made her a chain to countdown the days until Disneyland which we did Jan. 8th)
We then took her to souplantation.  She looks ok with the idea.  Sort of.  She really did love the place.
Malcolm loves that it is all you can eat mac and cheese.
Her preschool teacher made that hat for her.
And the souplantation people sang to her and gave her special ice cream.
The Color Run!  This year we had Kaylee walk/run/jog it with us.  She did great!
The above to pictures are before shots.
This is my mom and I after the race.  We had fun.  Malcolm slept most of it in the jogging stroller.
But I got him out for the party and made sure to purple him up.
She kind of cared that she was messy but I think she had fun.

This picture doesn't really do it justice.  I was full of color.  But you can't see it as much for some reason.
That same day we went to our friend Lissette's party.  Lissette is the daughter of one of my friends I went to High School with.  Kaylee and Lissette love each other!
Oh also we cute Mal's hair in October since he was going to be a pirate.
Then it was my dad's birthday!!  I made him a very delicious chocolate cake we all enjoyed.
So there will be a part 3 because I underestimated how many awesome things did happen in October.

Safari Park/Kaylee's Birthday/October Part 1

October has been a busy month. So I had break into 2 parts. First I brought the kids the Wild Animal Park (Now known as San Diego Safari Park).  So I put them in matching shirts (I don't get to do this often but I see this happening more in my future.)

The WAP is one of our family's favorites but since it does pretty much take an hour to get to we don't go as often as we do the zoo!  But we love it!

I have to admit the above picture was taken many times to get a decent one because there was an argument over who gets to be on the statue more.
Kaylee has been loving preschool so much and she makes very fun crafts.  We also love Ms. Katy her teacher.  She focuses on teaching independence as well as normal preschool stuff.
Ok now we have reached birthday time.  Kaylee's birthday party was a frozen themed party and we had so much fun!!  The above is the pinata.
I made this Olaf.  You will see he further down the post.
This was my desert bar.  I had decorate your own cupcakes, dipped marshmallows, already made cupcakes and some candies.  Of course I also had pink lemonade because it's delish.

This is Claudia and her sister in law Celene who we love!  Also Celene's son Max.  Hes is only 2 weeks older than Malcolm.
Proud Parents of a 4 year old!
This is my dear friend Ree who my kids call Aunt Ree because she is just SO awesome!
Claudia and Maria!!
Kaylee dressed up in her halloween costume as Elsa.  I made it and I think it turned out awesome!
My Aunt Ruth
My mom's friend Laurie
Some of the party guests with Olaf
Probably one of my favorite pictures of Kaylee and I at the party.  She had a great time.
A little pinata on her head.
And finally a shot of my sister and I.  Love it.
Here is just some fun pictures of Kaylee after preschool.
I thought this cat was pretty awesome.

September 2014

I wanted to send some more pictures from the last months.  I had trouble with my pictures going on my computer so that why it took so long.  But here is September and I will send a few from the other months soon :-)
This is the kids playing outside at our apartment building.  The girl Kaylee is playing with is Taylor.  They get along very well.

We have been loving the zoo this year.  I like dressing Malcolm up like a Safari man when we go.

I made homemade yogurt and then we bought strawberries and used them to make homemade strawberry frozen yogurt!
Malcolm recently started holding my hand like this.  Kevin taught him apparently but it is SO cute!!
Sleepy Malcolm!! I love sleeping kids!
At the park and my fingers.  I think above was in Lakeside.  Malcolm went on the big boy swing!
This is at a birthday party for one of Malcolm's nursery friends who was turning 2!  It was really fun!

Malcolm and I together.  He loves the camera.
My favorite part of September was Kaylee's first day of preschool!!!  She loves is and SO DO I!!!!!
